I built this Cyclone dust extraction system in 2006, Its Bill Pentz Designed Cyclone,
I had a lot of fun building this project, and it works really well, It took me about 6 months off and on to complete. Its an important part of my workshop.
Here is a link to his site where the plans for the cyclone came from http://billpentz.com//woodworking/cyclone/CyclonePlan.cfm There is a lot really good information on Dust collection.

Wow Al, You have completed a difficult project in a very nice looking and efficient manner using very little of your useable floor space. Looks as if you are well on your way to saving your health from breathing all that lung and respiratory damaging dust. This is something that I have yet to totally build to my satisfaction and is something I have been planning and needing to get done for a long time now.
Thanks to you you have given me some very good ideas and will be definately be knowledge that I will use. You have completed a very well put together package of documentation of how to build a complicated system that will be appreciated by others as well as myself. Nice job and thank you for sharing such a necessary item in the woodworkers life. Have a great week.
