Jay I totally understand where you are coming from... When I first made this there was a tonne of smack talk from plastic stuntman (he deleted his comments but you can still see mine and other member's responses) . And trust me I didn't pay for the pdf but I just don't remember where I found it online.
I do believe he did get in trouble for putting a cost to it aswell.
As for my project... People build jigs to make tools work better all the time. Kreg still got my $40 for the kreg junior so it not like they are without a profit. Thanks for checking this thread out.

Wow, you know I would hate to have anything in my shop that is built using the ideas and components of someone else's product.  Then to add insult to injury use the same company's web site to distribute the product.  In looking at the You Tube clip I see they are wanting money as well just for the plans on building something that I believe borders on copy right infringement and just plain wrong.

It really doesn't matter. Some people just have to whine.

does it really matter, just that all of us can do it.

My apologies to Plastic StuntMan, but nowhere in these photos due I claim that this is my design. I did download your pdf but not using this site. I merely used your design and improved it in a couple of aspects, including the wider 2 x 10 base, the bolt and wingnut for holding the R3 and using a 1/2 in roundover bit on the base to clean it up.

I thought that this website is for showing off projects that we have built (but not necessarily designed) using the Kreg Jig. I havn't seen any " I built this table using John Smith's design from such'n'such a website. They just say "Table built using the kreg jig".

I will change the name of the project to accredit you and your design. and I am sorry for "disturbing" you.

Nice job Wally. I saved a couple of your photos for future use. As I get more into using my Kreg Jig, I'm going to want to build one like yours for my own use.
