the countertops & island are made from 30" x 96" glued up blanks I bought at Menards you finish sand & glue edging, if you need it wider you have to glue two together, they they come 24"x48"-96" 30"x24"-96"
Thanks, Vaughn. That enamel finish looks really cool -- like old school liming, but it will probably hold that look longer since it's enamel. Great idea. Nice work.
Nice work so whats next.
Awesome reno. Wish I had courage and time. Did you make or buy the countertop? Whats it made of ?
Questions asked by Russ Haynes, all cabinets are oak the panels are cut from a 4x8 sheet of paneling I got at Home depot, I needed a finish that could be restored with out fuss so the finish is nothing but light coats of enamel paint on bare wood.
Beautiful. Can you talk about the lower cabinets? Are they oak? Is that a liming stain finish? What are the panels made out of? I love how you laid out the grain patterns between the face frames and the door rails and stiles.
Looks awesome, Vaughn. Thanks for sharing!
