I have some 2" x 6" Black Walnut and need some 2 1/2" screws. To best of my knowledge Walnut is a hardwood so I need to use fine thread screws. However I can not find that length of Fine thread screws on Kregs website. Does anyone know where I can find them?

Thank you in advance,

Duane

Hey Duane -

They don't make them - see here: https://www.kregtool.com/customer-service/questions/joining-tools-q...

Tanks Brian, I'll go that way.

McFeely 's screws, they have just about every thread imaginable, but they are mostly sguare hole heads.

Hope this helps

Use screw wax regardless of the thread size. There will never be enough wax on a screw to compromise the glue joint.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
