Hello, I'm Joe from Suffolk County, NY. Iv'e been a construction carpenter since out of high school. Due to the current state of economic stagnation, I am now a custodian for a school district. I have a 20x30 wood shop in my basement, which for the better half of about 30 years iv'e worked on different cabinet/furniture projects. I've converted what used to be a hobby into something of a part time job. I look forward to discussing new techniques with other wood workers as well sharing my own knowlegde to better the quality of my work.
Hi I'm John From Washington State North of Seattle and I run industrial equipment mostly forklifts but other stuff as well. Just getting into Woodworking liked it in High School so many years ago and thought I would give it a go again besides tired of my cheaply made IKEA Furniture

My dad taught me to swing a hammer before I could walk. I always remember 'helping' him out in the woodshop when I was growing up. I fell in love with woodworking at an early age and now have a wife that loves my woodworking and supports my addictions... err... I mean hobbies.
So with my love for woodworking and remodeling, of course my 9 to 5 would be a... Software Engineer. hehe
