Hi, my name is Steve, and I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I've done bits and pieces of woodworking for a number of years, but my goal is to increase that. I just finished my first pockethole project (with a LOT of support from a friend who is much better at woodworking), building a cabinet for our kitchen. With all the concerns I had, the project came together amazingly well. I've got other projects ahead of me.
Hi, my name is Rich and I live in south east Pennsylvania. I have been working with wood for the last 40 years. As a young boy I was always in my dad's workshop building something and all these years later I find working in my own workshop a peaceful place to be. I am a tool and die maker as well as a designer of scientific equipment by day and that helps me be a better woodworker. I have been using pocket screws for a long time but I just found all that Kreg has to offer and in hooked.
Hello my name is Philip.I live in Rowlett At one time I was a trim carpenter.I have not done it in a while but I still work with wood for a hobby. My wife bought me a Kreg jig for Christmas two years ago.The last couple of days I have been building a ice chest for my back yard the type you see built around a igloo ice chest.Instead of using a Igloo ice chest I had acquired a stainless steel cooler that I built a cabinet around it.With out the Kreg jig it would of been a lot harder. The jig worked great.I have always strayed from building cabinets. But with this jig the sky is the limit.I also saw some the other tools that Kreg has to offer for woodworking.I did not these types of tools were even available.I plan on buying most of them.
Hello My name is Jean and I live in Bathurst, New Brunswick Canada. I would consider myself a beginner to woodworking and really like the kreg systems they work very good and are pretty easy to work with. I am looking forward to meeting others with similar interests and maybe getting more hints and knowledge about woodworking and DIY projects.

Hi My name is John and I live in south central Kentucky. I have only one project done so far and was impressed on how simple it really was. My shop is more therapy than anything else, I have to find a way to slow down and with these projects I can just relax and follow the instructions and viola out comes a table.
Hello, my name is Ted but you can call me (Poopsie). My father had a hand in giving me that nickname, thanks Dad. I am a Vet and I am retired from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections. My Grandfather was a cabinet maker from West Germany, my father had a small shop in the garage. I watched my Grandfather and my Dad work with wood when I was growing up as a child. Right now I am making bird houses in my small shop and refinishing the cabinets in the kitchen that my Grandfather built. I am using a Kreg Jig and I am planning on upgrading to the Kreg K5 system.
Matt from the detroit area here. I bought a k5 kreg this weekend with a miter and table saw. I have alot of things i want to try and build but so far i made a a base for the k5 and a creative shelf that used a cabinet door as a base. It was something my wife wanted done and in my search for a way to mount the shelf I stumbled on the kreg jig. Im very impressed and now im gonna start other projects.
