Hello everyone my,mname is Max and in the life I am a Cameraman and I write from the city of Rome, Italy, thank you very much for accepting me in Kreg's community I have great pleasure to join you.
I!m a person with many interests including woodworking, I live in a new House with garden just outside town and I'm still building the spaces I need, I knew the Kreg Tool and it's fantastic to realize many projects.
Well, then you have company over, I hope to contribute to the community with some of good idea.

Hi, I am Spence. I live in Skokie, IL which is at the North border of Chicago.

  I've been doing woodworking since about 2005. My main tool is the scroll saw but I have a small shop filled benchtop versions of a lot more than that. My woodworking tends to be on the order of small boxes, artsy projects, and scroll saw projects made as gifts and donations to charitable fundraisers...ie. I'm not a furniture maker. My largest project was a cradle for my first grandchild. Other projects are for the shop.

  I look forward to using my Kreg Jig to simplify joinery for shop projects.

Hello community, My name is Diana from new york state but retired to lakeland florida last october. Well after i got here and got my home the way i wanted it i had nothing to do and the weather was beautiful. I always wanted to work with wood and i have alot of tools so i decided to make a bar out of pallets for my florida room. I decided to use pallets because being new at this i didnt want to buy good wood and ruin it. It took me a week and its far from perfect but i made it and proud of it, so i decided to make a small island for my kitchen with the whole top used as a cutting board because i dont have alot of counter space. This time i used all 2 by 4s and like the bar its not perfect but i learn a little more everytime i build something. Then my daughter asked me to make her a table for the kids to eat at and made this last weekend and she loves it. Iam hoping joining the community that i can get alot of input and ideas from the members if i need advice. next project is a work bench lol have a great day.

Hello, my Name is Darryl and I live in south Alabama.

Always wanted to get into woodworking, but never had the space nor the money to do it.

A buddy started showing me all the items he made using a mitre saw & kreg jig.  I made the decision at that moment to buy a jig and start.

The only thing I have to lose is a couple pieces of lumber.

Hi, I'm Tom Wiesner. I live in Eastern Iowa. I'm recently retired and have been doing woodworking as a serious hobby for about 40 years. I primarily build furniture and enjoy doing custom built-ins. I've owned a Kreg Pocket hole jig for about 5 years and it's one of the best techniques I've added to my joinery arsenal. My latest project was a storage/desk system for my oldest granddaughter.  An enjoyable project that utilized pocket joinery for all the face frames. I'll add a photo a bit later.Looking forward to learning from other members of the Kreg Owners Community.

My name is Ray, and I live in North Texas just a few miles from the Oklahoma border.  I am retired and love woodworking.  Until just recently all my projects have been with typical joinery, i.e. mortise and tenon, dovetails, finger joints, etc.  But I recently purchase a Kreg K5 master system, and my son-in-law and I just finished a walnut toddler bed for my first grandson.  We both enjoyed working on it together, and I was pleased it went together so well using the pocket holes.  I look forward to making other items using this technique.

Hello, My name is Carol Ann and I have been woodworking for years. I live in Virginia and my husband and I built on to the house that I grew up in. We didn't do the work ourselves, we hired a contractor but I designed the plans and we actually helped with some of the building projects. Even if some evenings we cleaned up the mess, that made us feel a big part of it and it helped the builders.

I have made small projects but never any furniture and such like I have always wanted to. I bought the Kreg jig recently and I am so excited to use it to help me build items for my house, such as a built in hutch in my kitchen (my kitchen is huge) and maybe tables. I have so many ideas that I just couldn't list them all. Especially the outdoor projects. Since adding our addition about 13 years ago I haven't decorated or added embellishments to the new part. I want things like wainscoting and maybe crown molding, furniture etc that I made myself. I want more than just painting.

Anyway, I am determined to build projects with my Kreg jig but I need a boost for ideas. Tips and tricks from my fellow creators so that is why I joined the Kreg Owners' Community. And hopefully I will be posting completed projects that I am proud of so Members can see my projects.

Your island and bar look so good! I love reusing material to create something else (especially if it is free) and using those pallets look great. I have lots of projects that I want to make too for indoors and out and I know this forum will help us tremendously!
