Hi. I'm Lee Wright and a total NewB. It all started when my wife saw a $1500 "Farmhouse table" at Restoration Hardware and I commented that I thought I could build it. A lot of youtubing and a few trips to Home Depot later, BAM! Saved myself $1350 and found a new hobby!
Hi
My name is Bob Rutkas. I am a retired Tool & Die Maker who is looking into word working to satisfy the "maker" itch I have. My first project will be a Mission style night table.
Hi everyone, my name is Ross and I live in Colorado, originally from Louisiana. I'm very new to woodworking. My wife and I have finally moved into our first home (new build) and I had some ideas for some projects and came across the Kreg jig system when doing some research. I've only completed a couple of projects so far and look forward to more.
Hello all, my name is Myra and I'm from Alabama. Always been fascinated with making things from wood and since retirement I can get started. I'm a newbie but hope to learn much from all the experience here. I've made a couple of things with not too many errors. The most important thing to me is the enjoyment I get out of it, it's fun.
Hi, My name is Paul and I'm from south Alabama. I 've worked in construction in my youth, and I am currently renovating a foreclosed home I bought. I'm trying to get into a hobby to use up my free time, and this kreg seemed like an easy way to get started.
Hello Paul. I live about 20 miles south of Montgomery. I'd be interested to know where in south Alabma you are if you don't mind.

Hello, my name is Henry and I hail from Long Island, NY.
While not new to woodworking, (55+ years), I haven't been very active until very recently when I decided that I needed to build my own closets after seeing the junk being peddled to the uninformed public.
So the project is: Two large walk in closets (his and hers) each with multiple walls of cabinets.
Step 1 - Update my tools/shop: Bring up all my woodworking tools to the garage where I'll have space to build and not worry about filling the house with sawdust. I'll need some tables to attach to my table saw to handle large sheets of plywood. Would also be nice to have a long table for miter saw.
Step 2 - Invest in a full Kreg system -- K5, router table, extension fence for compound miter saw and of course first build a bunch of rolling tables/carts to attach as needed to table saw, router, miter saw or just use for assembly. Did not forget to buy 4,000 screws (they won't last long).
Upon arrival of my K5 I started to build the first of 4 units - a basic 2x4x36" tall cart. Sourced some really nice locking casters at HD, a bunch of 2x4s and some 3/4 MDF.
buzz, buzz, buzz and first cart done.
Second cart -- gee, lets see, base for table saw stinks -- cobble up a new base with some nice HD casters -- mount saw and new Delta T3 fence.
Hmm.. A sled would be nice -- order some Kreg Jig & Fixture bars.
Third cart - same as first but cut some grooves for the sled.
Fourth cart - lower center section to put miter saw level with top
Next, build removable fence to go on cart 1 & 3 and add Kreg fence.
OK, now ready to start on closets -- out to get some pre-finished plywood.
Pictures to follow...
Hey guys, my name is Jeff and I live in Madison, Alabama. Have always wanted to get into wodworking and at the age of 54 have just now had the spare time to do so. I'm about to start building my own closet organization system. Any helpful hints are greatly appreciated.

Hello, my name is Tom and I live in NW Indiana. I have always been interested in woodwork, but, really didn't do much of it until I saw an infomercial on the Kreg Jig and saw how easy it was to join wood thus making projects easier. After receiving the Jig, I have made two projects. The first being a cabinet, of my own design, for the kitchen to fill in an empty space between the side of the dishwasher and the end of the counter-top. The second being a simple coffee table off of a plan from Kreg as a hobby to sell. The simplicity of Kreg tools has inspired me to pursue my interest in woodworking.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
