Welcome Anthony !! Where in WV ??
Hi all, my name is Neil and I am originally from the North East of England but for the last 12 years I have called Adelaide in South Australia home. I have always wanted to get into woodwork since I did it as a subject in High School. Finally at the age of 52! I got the wife's permission to buy some equipment and set up a small workshop. So far I have done 3 projects using my Kreg K5 jig, hopefully these are the first of many.
Hi Everly
Thanks for the welcome - not sure you got the right person as I live in Nantwich, England

Hello, my name is Anthony and I’m new to the wood working thing I live in the hills of WV. Not completely I’m a carpenter but this is a new aspect to carpentry that I have not really thought to much of. But seeing how I’m recently disabled and unable to work I think a wood working hobby would do me some good, and keep me busy. I would love to be able to make some cool stuff like a smoker to smoke meats and such. Hope to get some help and advice along the way.
Hi.......they put me under the wrong Anthony.........have a Great Day and a Better Tomorrow !!

Hi everybody.
My name is Miloslav (in american tradition - Michael).
I'm in-house counsel for big company in Moscow, Russia. Woodworking is one of my hobbies. Three years ago I moved from the city to village nearby and discovered that my own house needs some tiny improvements on day-to-day basis.
I also very like fishes and water plants and have a plenty of fishtanks. Factory made cabinets for fishtanks also need to be improved.
Thus, I started doing things by my own hands and soon discovered Kreg and other american tools. Unfortunately, prices for american hardware are enormous high in Russia and not easy to find, nevertheless, I collected many of them. I like Kreg's tools for fresh ideas.
I used to travel a lot and amongst many other countries have been in many places of the US (Texas, Florida, Louisiana, California, NY and Washington DC).
Due to my job I have to spend almost all the time at work. So, my woodworking hobby is accommodated by couple of hours at weekends only. Recently I with my youngest son made a bird feeder (winter is coming and more and more forest birds come to the village looking for food) and now we are making lego table for the junior.
For next spring we have great plans such gardener bench and chairs for bbq zone.
I'm delighted to join you community. I participate also in some Russian woodworking forums as well.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thanks and best regards
Hullo, my name is Anne and I am from the South Island of New Zealand. I'm glad to see when I read other people's introductions that you seem to be absolute beginners or not that knowledgeable in woodworking. So I feel amongst equals already, from that you can gather that I am self-teaching as I go along, so having just bought my pocket jig am drinking up all the information I can get, and am dying to get out to the car port and start drilling holes.
Good to meet you all
Well my name is Brenda, Im a married mother of 4. I work full time, as well as caring for a new home, 4 teenage to early 20 kids, my husband who just loves me for me, and of course our 95 lbs Lab/Golden/Chow mixed boy . I love to work with wood, since I was about 6 years old when I watched my father make a miniature log cabin with a shingle roof, wrap around porch with rocking chairs and working shutters. I work with twigs, branches, plywood, real wood, anything I can make. Right now i need storage of all kinds to house my crazy woodworking obsession, LOL

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
