Kregs adaptor accommodates a 1-1/4" vac hose.
My small shop vac is attached to my K4 jig. I used the pvc elbow so the hose is out of the way. I use a corded drill plugged into a box from Sears that will turn on the vac when the drill starts and stays on a few seconds after the drill stops.
I think kreg making a dust port adaptor for the kreg jig to go on a shop vac is a plus for the small shop guys or gals that have only a shop vac for taking care of saw dust and etc. I think that kreg is using its thinking cap to help the DIYer type and woodworking type hobbist in making that adaptor. I think it would be a win, win for both sides. Kreg and us woodworkers.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
