Hello, I am not a beginner with the kreg Jig, However when I use half inch Baltic birch plywood with the black microjig using 1/2 settings I find it hard to plug the holes with the micro plugs because the screwhead sticks out of the hole to far. any suggestions. I use 1 inch screws when using half inch. I find that 3/4 screws do not penetrate the mating piece enough.

From the Micro Jig instructions:
Working with ½” Material
When drilling Micro Pocket™ Holes in ½” material the standard setting will leave your screw close to the wood’s surface and without the ability to plug the Pocket-Hole. In order to create a ‘pluggable’ Micro Pocket™ hole in ½” material, you’ll need to follow these simple steps to compensate:
• Set your Drill Guide for ½” material, as normal
• Set your Stop Collar for 5/8” material
• Replace standard 1” screws with the shorter ¾” version (SPS-F075)
Thanks Ken, I really appreciate you taking time to answer my question?
