Hi All,

I am a retired and just always enjoyed woodworking. I now have the time to build a wood shop. I also enjoy restoring older woodworking machines. A few years ago I owned a wooden trawler and lived aboard. The sand paper and varnish never left my hand. I am currently building black cherry shelves around our fireplace and enjoy making jigs and cabinetry.

I thought the Kreg screw system was a "gimmick" and boy was I wrong! I am amazed how strong a joint it makes.

I used the Kreg mini to build my hole jig and set it up for 1/2", 3/4" and 1 3/4" screws. It is becoming my go to fastening jig.

Hi, my name is John and I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. I have some limited experience doing woodwork with a friend but am setting out to do some things on my own. Looking forward to using my Kreg tools to help in that endeavour. Recently built a shed to clear out the bigger things from my workshop to start the ball rolling. I can see that there's lots of good ideas here to help with my projects.

Hi, Folks! My name is Jack and I am from Metairie, LA. I am new to pocket hole joinery, but not to woodworking. I am also looking forward to sharing ideas and techniques with you. There is always something new to learn.

My name is Alastair, I justed moved to Valdosta GA last October. I lived in Connecticut for 16 years. I moved to the US from Oxford UK. I am just over 7 feet tall and a Left below the knee amputee or LBKA. The house we bought has a two garages. So I have a place to go to do projects. New to Kreg but I bought a Kreg K4MS Jig Master System and a Kreg KMA2675 Kreg Rip-Cut

Hi all, my name is Doug and I live in VA, 20 short miles from DC.  I love doing landscape projects, but after living in my current home for the past 15 years, I've just about done everything I can do without my yard starting to look like a nursery. So, I'm taking the plunge into woodworking; something I've always been interested in, but I have absolutely no knowledge of.  I want to start off with some easy projects this Spring and slowly work myself into some more difficult, more gratifying projects.  I'm looking forward to seeing and reading about all of your ideas and triumphs.

Welcome Alistair and Doug!! I look forward to running into you both again!

Hello all,
My name is Rob and I live in Fayetteville, GA. I have been working with wood for several years now and enjoy every minute of it. To me it is a time to unwind and enjoy life more. I had purchased a knock off pocket hole jig to start my learning of the way this works and for Christmas this year was given the K5 kit. I will tell you what, I should have gotten this system long ago. It has saved me time like you don't even know in my projects and I am currently building project #3 with this kit. I look forward to any and all comments from others on this forum regarding my work, the more honest the better, this will help me to get even better at what I do. Thank you.

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue
