Hi, I am Merlin and i live in indiana. started using the Kreg jig about 2 years ago and my next project is a adorondack chair using the jig. should be a challenge
My wife calls my work "Making Sawdust"! I love working with various woods, and I love tools (I can never throw away an old one). The Kreg jigs are always a part of each project, and next to clamps indespensible. I am working on a small parts cabinet for my son - it is really a work in progress as it is my own design, and I voilated a few rules trying to get it ready as a birthday gift - lesson learned! So much for now. Al
Hi My name is Ronny I now live in Cumming Georgia, after 38 years in Montana. I have down all kinds of construction but now want to do more woodworking like book shelves, cabinets, and etc. I use the Kreg Jig all the time. I want to learn more and more and look forward to Kreg Tips.
I'm a retired technogeek (Electrical, computer networks, security technology, telephone tech, computer repair and help desk, nurse calls, hhhunn, and lots of other stuff) now working wood, practicing photography, doing computer graphics and trying to remain useful late in my seventies.
Hi Folks, I am a novice to the woodworking community, but my purchase of a Kreg Jig a year ago is what got me started. Then my brother retired and moved away and he gave me his Dewalt radial arm saw. This prompted me to revamp and clean my garage to create a wood shop. I have many projects in mind and this site among others has really accelerated my learning curve.
Hi to all in the communty

My name is Antony and I am a semi retied kitchen fitter and cabnet maker, I have been toying with the idea about jointing the Kreg way for several years and last month i took the plung and got my first Kreg jointing kit and all I can say is how the hell did I manage without it before its made my life so much easier and in the new year I shall be putting the kit to the test as this will be my prefered method of joining when builed my new dark room.

I will post more when I start the project in the spring (got a lot of clearing to do before I start lol)

Anyway its great to be part of the community
I am Orvel Johnson from Graham, Texas. I've been making "rough" projects for quite a number of years, and am now getting more interested in more precision work. That's why I bought the Kreg system.
I'm Andy, and my handle is a commonly used phrase in Puerto Rico, where I'm from. Currently in Florida trying to finish up a fairly successful carreer so that I can retire, go home, and build a little house on my property on a hill that overlooks Aguadilla Bay. Surf every day, build something that I can be proud of, and keep myself busy doing woodworking (for money, if I can).

Love Kreg stuff, and use pocket holes for many pieces. I would love to learn some more...
Hi everyone

My name is Colin and I live on the far south east coast of Australia.

Its only been in recent years that I have been able to get back into woodworking and I just love it, would describe my skill level as moderate but I'm always looking to learn more, have tried other pocket hole jigs but they weren't accurate enough for my liking so I got myself the K4 Master System and doesn't it make life a lot easier!!, small projects that would take me a week I can now do in a day...brilliant stuff.
Am looking forward to hearing from other members of the community who would like to share any info or tips

Cheers
Colin

Hello everyone. My name is Gerry and I live in Rio Rico, Arizona (by Nogales, Az.). I'm new to woodworking and any help with diagrams on how to build a closet would be appreciated. I did a small project in the garage and used the kreg jig. It turned out great so I'm eager to do a bigger project. Thanks and good luck to all.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
