Hi everyone--I'm Mike.

I have very little woodworking experience--but it is something I've been wanting to get into.  I received a Kreg K4 for Christmas, and my first project to get to know it is going to be simple box with some scraps I have around.  :)

After that, I'm planning to build a minimalist bench for our mudroom.  In the future, I'm thinking about closet organization.

I'm looking forward to exploring and learning new things!

Tom from Landrum Sc. Long time woodworker. Have a shop that I operate under the name of Alpha & Omega Woodworking, but just as a hobby. I sometimes made a few dollars but I prefer to make what I want and if anyone wants to buy it great and if not that's okay.

Retired so not wanting to make this a job so I just do this for fun. Keeps me busy and I like being busy (when I want to). Key words are WHEN I WANT TO.  I  do a lot of projects  around the house and the little lady is always wanting me to do something and I do .

Keeps her happy and be busy so it works out great for both of use.

So now you know who I am and I will come to know you as time goes on.

Take care, keep building those wonderful projects, keep posting and keep smiling. Hope everyone has a great New Year and all your dreams and wishes come true.

Hello, I'm Chip Denton, I live in North Texas and have worked with wood before but it has been a long time and now I'm trying to get back into it.  I currently working as a video producer for the Air Force Civil Service.  I spent over 10 years in the Army, first as an Aeroscout Observer and then as a Combat Photographer.

Hello, my name is Kenny, I am from and still live in Missouri. I have recently gained interest in woodworking. Just got my Kreg jig. Built the frame for the worktable, just need to add the top and shelf in the middle. My next project will be a green egg table or hope chest, I just ordered a load of red cedar.

Hola

Gracias

Hi Tom

I live just down the road from you in Inman. I've been on this sight for about 4 years just haven't posted much. I'm a disabled Vietnam combat vet and I have 2 shops. One for building different things and one where I do work with my lathe. I build things mostly for family but on occasion someone wants me to do some thing for them. I tell them if they want it quick they better get some one else to do it because I have just 2speeds and they sure don't want to see the other one. Between my wife and trips to the VA Hospital I do manage to find time in the shops. Well so much for that welcome to this sight.

My name is Robert and I live in deep South Texas. I'm new to pocket holes and have done minimal woodworking. My wife got me my Kreg Jig and I'm anxious to start using it. I think my first project will be a birdhouse or a work bench.

My name is Chuck and I live in Tucson AZ. My Wife got me my Kreg Jig and I'm ready to start using it. my first project was an URN for my parents, i made for myself and my 3 sisters my next is a stitching pony then a work bench.

I've been doing wood working since i was 10 with my Father, just small projects, now retirement is just two years away, i will be doing more, lots more.

I'm Jim

I am from north Texas. Been in woodworking since I was very young. My grandfather was a furniture maker so I hung out at his shop learning from him. I have worked in cabinet shops and have owned a cabinet shop.

I have been using pocket hole joinery for a long time. I bought the K 2000 when they first came out. And I'm still using the same K 2000 today. It has drilled many pocket holes.

I think it's time to get one of the new Forman's. Look forward to learning some new tricks.

What part of North Texas are you from?  I'm in Wichita Falls.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
