im a new kreg jr owner and would like to clarify the mounting of the jig.
i understand that the movable measurement guides on the side of the jig are to be latched to the end of the wood when you need to make the pocket holes.
then i noticed a video with it being used to repair under the steps of a staircase.
the jig is attached using a screw to the project where you drill the holes upwards.
i noticed that he removed the guides and put them back in 'reverse' so the latch is facing upwards this time so it can be attached FLUSHED to the surface.
if this is done, can you still use it to measure the desired depth needed for the material?
sorry i typed in too much :D thanks!
