I am really interested in this, I have a full shop in a 2 car garage. Tablesaw, scms, etc, but I think I need a track saw. I have heard good things about track saws and I like the idea of taking the saw to the board b/c moving plywood in a small shop is a pain. But the problem is, I do not want to spend an arm and leg on a machine however I do not want low end garbage. Its nice to have middle of the road options, I definitely want to hear some reviews.
Looks good, if I saw this at a woodworking show I would probably pull the trigger.
I was close to getting a grizzly track saw and making the modifications that are on youtube. The one thing I think is a joke with this demo using the dust bags they don't work and no real dust collection so no true indication to how well dust collection works with this saw. My daughter lives by the store in Pa. I would like to go in the store and get a feel how the saw handles.
Jeff are you seriously considering this saw? It has made my decision harder. Looks like mods are not required.
Any comment on this saw by Kreg Reps since Kreg is the US distributor for Triton products.
Garry;
I actually own the Dewalt model with all the accessories I could buy, so no I won't be buying the Triton. But one of my local tool suppliers featured it in there flyer this month so I watched the video and was impressed. I like the mode selector so you can score the material first helping the chip out issue. We will have to wait to see a review from some one who buys it. But it is about half the price I paid for my Dewalt.

Jeff,
Just wondering what the price and where you seen it? I can only find one place for 399.00+Shipping and well I can get the Dewalt off Amazon for 440.00 with free shipping. Looking to buy a Track Saw and this one came up. Thanks.
Good Morning Joshua;
One of my local wood working tool suppliers e mailed me in there weekly special I just went on there web site and it is still 359.00 I do not know about shipping. That is a great price for a Dewalt mine cost me a lot more.
Here is the link to the Triton.

Jeff what size track comes with that?
Good Day Gary;
The link up above was a deal I'm not sure if they are still selling it but at the top it says 1500 mm track, so do this link and it is 369.00 plus taxes they ship through out Canada and the U.S. I do not know if they charge for shipping.

If the track is 1500 mm = 150 cm divide 150 by 2.54 cm or about 59 inches. If the ship is $30 approximately $397 - 400 only $40 . However your talking another $100 just for track your $140 .
I check out amazon price it does not include the track but does include shipping . Track price is also less because amazon has the 59 inch track for $50. So the Dewalt is a good price only about $90 difference .

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
