Hi my name is Richard and I live in Southern California. I have little experience in wood working. It seems like a good time to learn, I look forward learning from this site. I hope to be a contributor in the future. I am retiring in three years and thought this might be a fun hobby. Plus I am tired of all of the cheap stuff they sell for high $$ at the store. My first project will be a patio table. I chose this project because if it comes out a little rustic I can clam that was the look I wad going for.
Hello, my name is Randall and I leave in Irvine Ky. I did some woodworking several years ago and I'm looking to get started back. I recently picked up a Kreg Jig and have completed a couple small projects. It is easy to use and provides very strong joints. I look forward to more projects. Thanks
Hi, my name is Tim. I live in central Wisconsin and currently have a 12x12 shed for my wood working area.
Hi tim ,your love this sight .I too work from a 12X12 SHED but with some careful planning you can have all the gadgets and use them comfortably .
Thank you Michael. Actually the 12 x 12 shed is bigger than the basement area I had at my old house. I think that was 8 x 12 with much lower ceilings.
Hofy you need any ideas for maximizing your area drop us a line ,or you can see my little set up on my page ,go steady mick.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Cheryl and I live in sunny Florida. I've been lurking since joining in February. I discovered it's sometimes easier to make the items I need rather than try to find something to fit. I learned about the Kreg Tool on Ana White & Shanty-2-Chic's sites, went out and bought the Jr. and soon discovered I needed something bigger so I bought the K4 and have been hooked ever since. The projects I've started with are fairly easy and I LOVE the smell of saw dust in the morning. I want to gather as much knowledge as I can so I can customize things based on my needs.
My daughter and I built her dining table using the Kreg and it came out fantastic. Once I learn to really square things properly I will be dangerous LOL.
Hi everyone,
I am a beginner wood worker and self taught thus far. I started last year with a renovation to my living room. I ripped out the old fireplace and replaced it with a custom cabinet and entertainment setup. Currently I am working on a computer desk with two tall cabinets and file drawers under the desk top. Its been a painful process since I work in a two car garage and the weather in Michigan has all but cooperated. Looking forward to hearing about some of your projects as well!
_ Jeff

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
