Kreg Owners' Community

My son and daughter in-law just had a baby boy. And today at the hospital she mentioned that she would like a rocker for the baby's room. So grandpa to the rescue. The baby will be home in a few weeks due to being premature, so I have a little time. And I thought about buying one, but we all know it's just not the same.

I have been searching the web, but would appreciate any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, tips on plans and hardware and places to get those items.

No response will be overlooked.

Thanks from the new grandpa.

Turn a suitable chair into a rocker?

It can be done but it is not always easy.

Fitting rockers to many chairs is also a difficult task unless you possess the skills and have the tools to perform the tasks.

Some chairs may not be built to take the stress of rocking back and forth and in time the chair will start to come apart.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
