Hi, I'm Kim. I live north of Dallas, TX & I run a small ranch. Since Kim can be either a male or female name, I suppose I should mention that I am female. My dad taught me some of the rudiments of woodworking 40-50 years ago, but until we bought our ranch, I didn't have much use for that knowledge. I sure have used it since!
I build housing for all the smaller livestock (chickens, turkeys, geese, & goats). I will be building cat trees (I volunteer with an animal rescue group). The first project for the jig will be building a "basket" for collecting eggs - I need a good sturdy basket since I have 100+ laying hens.
We are getting ready to renovate the kitchen, including building all new custom cabinets, which is why I got the new K-5 jig. Once the kitchen is done, the master bath will be the next project (getting rid of the huge useless bathtub and building a nice walk-in closet instead). We will be using the current closet space to expand the kitchen, so a new closet will be a must!

Welcome Kim. Sounds like you might have more experience than a lot of us here. I've found that most everyone is helpful and doesn't mind sharing knowledge with projects. So again, welcome.
