Perhaps one just needs to ask the ''right" people.
I've ordered products from Home Depot, Menards, as well as Lowes, and got it.
Rocklers frequently offers FREE shipping.
Rocklers is very helpful.
Rocklers is well stocked with Kreg products---the best place I've found, to date.
Menards also stocks many of the Kreg products.
If you can't find something in there stock, it only takes a simple phone call.

What makes you think going to Lowes and Home Depot helps the local community?
My close family member had a very large hardware store; now a small one. It was not Amazon who hurt the store, it was the "local box stores" that you are referring to.
If you want to help your local stores go to the independent hardware stores....ordering from the box stores is no different than ordering from Amazon!
And by the way, it was Kreg that told me about free shipping from Amazon.
Finally I shop at Rockler too, but how does it help my local franchise guy by ordering on the web?

Marty,
Lowes, Home Depot and Menards in my area employ locals---including tradesmen,
which contributes to the community.
Sales taxes collected, goes to the community.
My local ACE and True Value stores, are locally owned--- they do not stock Kreg products,
nor do they stock lumber and building materials and supplies;
therefore, we need to go to other supply sources.
They do stock many items that the big box stores don't have---which is a big plus for them.
The present economy has a big impact on the small businesses.
Ken,
What you said is true.
My point is ordering on line through a big box store is the same as through Amazon.com.
Further my local Home Depot has maybe two Kreg items; our Lowes little more.
Again, I do shop at Lowes and Rockler but when no stock is available, then Amazon is not the enemy. Kreg's Home Office actually recommends Amazon. And unless of a sale, Rockler on line does charge for delivery.
And trust me, the True Values are in big trouble....I know directly from a few large store owners.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
