Just thought I would start a discussion on woodworkers real jobs. It would be fun to no if there are lots of professional people using Kreg Jig along with people  like myself a retired  construction worker.

I am a Pennsylvania State Parole Agent, for the Philadelphia District Sex Crimes Unit.

I have been with the Parole Board for six years. Prior to transferring to
Parole, I was a Sergeant on the Death Row Unit at SCI Graterford for almost six years.

Hi, I am Steve from North Carolina. I am a financial controller for a wood products manufacturer. Woodworking is a good way for me to relieve stress and focus on something other than work. I particularly like repairing or restoring wood furniture (other peoples castoffs) and making cabinets of various designs. With my first grandson on the way, I expect many of my future projects will be with him in mind.

I am the President of a credit union in Vermont. I have had a desire to get into woodworking since early childhood when i wanted to build a birdhouse and didn't have the tools or ability to do so. Even though i am clearly a beginner i love the hobby and it provides me with an escape from work that is nice to have. i know we are here to necessarily plug Kreg products, but man these are a pure joy to work with. The craftsmanship and precision helps offset for some of my inexperience i do believe.

Haha!! I retired from the computer world three years and I spanned from punched cards (mainframes) to PCs - almost 40 years of it...I've had it!!!!. I still keep current in computer stuff and recently have become interested in toying around with Arduino - Open Source. I also have time to devote to my wood shop. I must admit that the Kreg tools have made a difference and I really need to get the new Kreg Micro Jig. I am in New Jersey.

Hello, I'm Doug from Louisiana. I work for a State Agency as a Senior Network Administrator. I have a nice sized shop and really enjoy woodworking. Currently taking carving classes and add some designs on my wood projects. Really enjoy it, and can't wait to retire so I can do more.

I play bluegrass music with a few people and one of the members of band is 78 and he is a woodcarver.Takes lots of talent for sure.

x Army Ranger,retired math teacher, principal, athletic director, football coach. un-retired football coach at present. I have " tired and retired" several times!!:) Jim,I remember entering data on data punch cards to feed the complier on the old IBM 360? It made differential equations more fun than you would believe! Strictly a hobby guy.

We lived in Colorado for 6 yrs down in Aurora but did lots of 4 wheelin near Cripple creek , Goose creek to name a few,Where ever there was a trail and no pavement
