The nice clean look of cabinets built with wood carcass covered with melamine. Any recommendations?

Hi Gary, If I was wanting to attach a piece of melamine to a frame I would screw into the melamine as the melamine does have a tendacy to chip around the screw as it tightens up. The screw pressure makes it crack and then you will have the melamine chipping from around the screw. Other wise melamine is much like plywood.

Option: White melamine veneer--- bond it only to the exposes faces/edges/surfaces.
Available in sheet form---can be easily cut and bonded.
