Today I got one year older and am now at 62 and counting. Do I feel old? Not really, but unfortunately the pains remind me I ain't getting younger. I got the mind of a kid, but the body of an old man. Too bad it can't be the other way around. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMES!!! My Geritol  is: "EARLY TO RISE AND LATE TO RETIRE."   Hope you had a nice birthday.

Happy Birthday James!  They are shooting off fireworks in your honor!  Hope you had a great day!

Happy birthday james, were have too make matching rocking chairs ha.

Happy Birthday!!   I hope you get a awesome new tool that you have been hoping for!

Actually, I just had a normal day off. No gifts, no cake, no ice cream and no dancers.

As for a new tool, I don't even have the tools I had. I left Florida back in March and went back to Georgia and stayed with my Aunt for about 3 months. I left everything I had....drills, tablesaw, mitersaw, Kreg Jig, 47" tv, computer, PS3 and other stuff. I felt at the time we was heading into a situation where we would have to move as there was hardly any money coming in. So I just packed up my clothes and my fire-proof safe and left.

After 3 months with my Aunt we had a disagreement so I packed up my clothes and safe and left again with no where to go. I spend 8 days and nights in my car. I tried getting hold of my niece in LaGrange, GA but wasn't able to. I dialed a number on my phone and nephew answered and I told him what had happened and he said to come back to Florida. So that is where I am right now in Tampa, FL.

Some of the tools are here, but in my mind they don't belong to me anymore. I havn't built anything since February and with no shop and no money for wood, I probably won't built anything for a while.

But I enjoy coming here, looking at everyone's projects, reading the posts and helping out where I can.

Hi James, sorry I missed your birthday, so HAPPY BELATED BIRTH DAY, I dont want to hear that 62 is old, I still have a couple of years till I reach that age, but I do know all about the aches and pains. Like grunting or moaning everytime you sit or get out of a chair, at least working with wood helps to keep me young.

Hope you had a good day!

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
