Big, small, full of tools, or just starting... post photos of your shop!  I'm sure there's quite a wide range of them out there.. I used to work in my attic, and now I'm in the garage.  Maybe the photos will give the rest of us ideas for tools, layout, lighting, etc. in our own shops!

I have about 15 photos on on my home page under My Humble shop.This was started about 2 months ago by myself without any success,I deleted the post and reason I think of the non success is that a person could be inviting trouble (theft) for advertising his fortunes in tools. My opinion.somehow people this day and age can work the hoops and find addresses and bingo your a target.

Jenss, yeah, your photos were actually what gave me the idea for the thread. I'd post photos of mine, but it's all torn up right now... like I said, I share my shop with a garage and cars, so it makes it very difficult! I'll try to get some soon.

I wouldn't be worried about theft I guess... A, no one here really knows where you live, B, they don't know your security system, C, there's a lot easier stuff to steal than heavy woodworking equipment. D, those who do things like work with wood might be more likely to also own a gun. ;)

It will be good to compare shops here.

Here are few pictures of my shop. It's a 16 x 24 shop. I'm wired for 100 amps to the shop so I can run my 220 air-compressor or other tools requiring single phase power. My table saw is an old 8" craftsman and I just finished building my router table. The last big tool I need to get is a planer. I mill most of the wood I work and currently have to use my friends planer, so when I get my own planer I'll be set.

Nice. Lots of room. I have about half of a 24x24 garage. Just getting started. I have mostly Ryobi tools. They are not the limiting factor.....

Yep I really enjoy the woodshop Nice thing about it is I cant get a car in there.Thats a +++++++

I plan on retiring in 6 years. The plan is a dedicated shop and hopefully by then I will have the skill set to justify new tools. But for now the tools are better than the person using them...... It's fun to look at the photos of other shops. Lots of ideas.
