set the drill for the stock you are drilling through... then chose the screw to match the stock you are drilling into. remember: not to deep but deep enough. Am I correct everybody?
I would think that a) one would set the drill jig for the stock to drill throught, and b) choose the screw for the stock going into (not too long and not too short). some checking and experimenting is probably worth it though. Am I correct everyone? I've just purchased a Master System and am a novice to it but have had some success so far. Great toy and a great gadget ahrrr arrrr
How can i get the screw in egypt ?
hm... I would question a few of the setting and would have to check, i.e. for 3/4" stock to 1 1/2" stock, using a 2" screw... might have to be a 1 1/2" screw!!
As is always recommended ........ TEST it first on a piece of scrap prior to doing the "real thing".
too true, have said this endlessly... a firm grasp of the obvious huh? ;-)

Paul,
Do you by chance have a link to that item on E-Bay? I've searched over there and can't locate anything.

I was able to get the screw selection wheel by Kreg by itself on eBay. It's a big help for me.
according to Kreg Tools, you have to purchase the big tool box kit for it; do you suppose the person who sold it to you on eBay made a copy and profited with the sale to write down his cost of the big kit? ;-) I think that KREG would / could do well to put them on the market and fast. I'm creating one myself and may pre-empt them with my own name... no copyright on the thing. I would make it in the form of an old fashion slide rule.

I think I got a one time only deal. I'd been checking and found it, won the bid, haven't seen it since. I got lucky.
I guess you did, Paul. I remember "chatting" with Kreg and asking about the availability of the wheel and they said it was ONLY available with the package they were offering at the time. Too bad, it would be VERY handy to have around on a regular basis.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
