Hello! I am Mike Guidry, owner of Guidry Carpentry Service in Austin, Texas. I've admired pocket hole joinery for many years, I recently bought the Kreg Jig Jr. and suddenly my eyes are opened to a whole new world of joinery! I've just completed my first pocket hole only job and loved every minute of it!

Hi
Hi
Hello,

It's George saying hi. Newbie to the pocket hole joints and a beginner in woodworking. I've wanted the Kreg Jig for a while now and finally bought it...but haven't used it yet. Too busy with the kids being on break. My first project will be a custom sized cabinet in the laundry room for the wifey.

Hello all and I look forward to sharing and learning from everyone here!

Thanks to everyone for letting us newbies in.
Hello all I'm Tom from Plymouth, MA. I have been doing mainly DIY home repairs for years but have taken a few courses in woodworking. I enjoy it and my friends and family are reaping the benefits of some of my outdoor furniture. I didn't have much in the way of power tools but with the help of Craigslist i was able to pick up many nice tools from a guy who was moving away and didn't want to move them. So I'm on my way. I just purchased a Kreg Jig to build a couple outdoor tables to go with the Adirondack chairs I have built. I'll keep you posted on how they come out.
Hi Guys and Gals
I am a retired senior. I just discovered the Kreg Jig and just love it. I am a native Californian. I live a few miles from Pismo Beach. I worked for lumber yards longer than I care to admit. I have trouble getting around so I am slow but methodical. The only class I got A's in was wood shop. So I have liked woodworking from High School 1968. My first project with the Kreg Jig is a shoe and linen unit in Red Oak plywood and solid Red Oak face frame and doors. After that a small doll case, and then 2 screen doors.

I'm liking this site already.

Aloha I'm Richard, I work for the Government and woodworking is my outlet. Have been working with wood for about 25 to 30 years, don't own any Kreg jigs yet but will pick one up shortly. Looks Ez to use but will find out when I get a jig. ending not and will read you later.
Hi thre! My name is Paula and I live in Kentucky but am native to Ohio. I am in the process of building all new cabinets for my kitchen and my trusty Kreg jig is helping me right along. I have had this jig for years but wasn't sure I would like it when I first bought it. Now I can't imagine building anything without it!
Hi, New member here. I bought the pocket hole jig. I love it.

I am a beginning woodworker. I started out last fall making small ornate boxes and expanded into more intricate and larger projects as my shop and tool inventory grew.

I learned early on that resawing on the table saw is dangerous. Darn near took my finger off. Then I bought a jointer.....yikes...just about took another finger off. So? I enrolled into a safety course at my local Woodcraft store. Been good since. Anyway...sharp objects scare me.

I just finished an island type kit table. It's fairly decent. 'Working on a matching living room cabinet now. We'll see. Dale
