My island! Kregged together from a waterbed frame. Added some kregged stools and some finishing wood pieces. All for under $100 bucks!!!!

Thanks!  Someone threw their waterbed frame, drawers in the trash on the street.  I went over there and asked them if I could take it.  The rest was history!!

That end board is kregged to the other piece on top and under and i put a 2"x2"x12" piece under it(not seen) for more support.  Holds up pretty good, trust me i tested it for safety.

Looks really great and I would love something like that in my mobile home kitchen. I got a small version of the Kreg workbench in there right now and I plan on adding some drawers and storage soon.

On the end there it looks like that board is hanging over the edge of the cabinet, is it strong enough to hold up to repeated use? Looks like maybe the whole top is Kregged screwed, but still doesn't look safe to me.
