Won't help as soon as the front of the guide passes  the end of the board  you get a fulcum effect front will want to go to the right.

Gary - I don't think you would get a "fulcrum effect" until the center of the guide passes the end of the board. I think you could achieve stability by extending the guide such that the center is even with or behind the saw arbor. Would add a lot of bulk to the jig though.

I have a 6 1/2" b+d wood hawk. Gonna pick up my ripcut Friday. I also believe the saw arbor location may be the key. Smaller saw less fulcrum.

Can anyone tell me where I can get a rip- cut in Ontario Canada?

I bought me one at our local Woodcraft store, but have not set it up yet. They seem to have a good supply of Kreg items.

I guess you could look at the same as you do for using a thickness planner you get snipe at beginning and end of the cut. The scale on the saw guide is very accurate if you set it up properly to start. Remember this guide is only for getting sheet goods to close size you will finish cut with your tablesaw sled with stop blocks or your chop saw with stop blocks.

well for me who lives in canada got mine rip cut today cause i tried to find a place in canada were i could get one

and thanks to another member help i got one from the www.toolstore.ca for 34.99  better then woodcraft in usa they wanted to charge more to me to get one lol they were charging me 36.42 for the same thing plus all shipping and taxes which i did understand why . oh well i got one now  works great thank for your help.

The center panels were cut with the ripcut to size. They are not perfect but fit is really tight fit. I am going to add a solid wood piece to the top of the divider and a powerstrip on top.

I would love to hear from someone who has actually used one.

I own and use my ripcut as stated I cut the panel to size for my dust seperator. My first cut was a piece of mdf from about a 20" wide piece set it for 10" didn't have a problem with the cut. However the cut for dust collector panel at 22.5 " did have a problem last couple inches of the cut. The thing I do like about it is the scale is very accurate if setup properly. I have a small shed its easier to just bring out a couple of sawhorses and the rip jig and make the cuts. Than drag out my tablesaw.

I FINALLY used my rip cut for the first time yesterday and I loved it!  I was prepared for the wobble at the end and was able to not let it affect the cut.  Forgot to warn hubby though and he didn't have as much success.  All in all,, I am thrilled with the performance and accuracy.

I ripped a 16' piece of trex decking from 5.5 to 3 .75 dead on by using the scale on the tool. Love the ease of set up narrow cut like that works everytime only when you exceed 12". Just set a couple 2" x 6" a 1/2 " appart set the cut line on the trex between 1/2' gapp between the 2" x 6" and made the cut with the jig on top of the deck.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
