Does anyone know of any good free wood working plans or sites out there? I am a beginner wood worker and want to start working on stuff for my daughters, wife and house.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Popular woodworking has a website which has free plans. They also have an "I can do that" section for beginners and an "I can do that" manual too. It's the best 2 mins I've spent on the internet. After a few years of woodworking, I still go back to that manual sometimes and have a read through.
Thanks mo khan, I didn't know about the Woodworking manual. Anyone could benefit from this free book.Great find.
I found this site to offer free wood working plans.
Hi Chris,
2 places to try are woodsmithshop.com or books.google.com. Under magazines you will find American Woodworker. You can read all the back issues for free. There are plans, tips and tool reports.
Hope this helps you

Have you found the answer to your problem? Try this one http://shedplan-woodworkingguide.blogspot.com/. I quite sure it can help you a lot.
My personal favorite is free woodworking plans.com. It has 1000 or more plans from A-Z. It also has plans for workshops and wood working jigs and other things. Try it out you could get great ideas from there.
