Hello, Bill here, I live just outside Atlanta, GA.  I'm just getting into woodworking and really finding lots of useful things I can build.  I picked up a Kreg jig and it's a wonderful tool.  It really makes a persons efforts with building more reliable and stronger.  I'm still trying to make room in my basement for a shop of sorts and have been rapidly building storage systems to clear some space.  Hopefully, in the next week or so I'll have a workbench that's visible and something I can put to good use building furniture.  I actually am working up to building my own kitchen cabinets and the jig will be instrumental there.  Anyway, glad to be part of the community.  I look forward to getting ideas from you!

Giday Bill,

I live very close to you,...  and also have a kreg Jig and suffer from the stowage problems you mention, I also used my Jig to build all sorts of boxes and seats.

So I think you will enjoy yourself for many years

Also importantly you will also enjoy to no end, this Website it  has got to be one of the best I use on the Fog of the Internet.

There is lots of really impressive members, and equally impressive skills, information, plans and the site has the flexibility of the members managing the input for all to see review comment and if the need arises to replicate some good plans for your use.

Regards

Robert Brennan

Oh forgot to mention my Kreg Jig is a mirror image of yours,(hint hint)

Hi everyone, Gideon here. I'm from Singapore. I just bought a new apartment and decided to DIY as much as I can. I just hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew, since I've never done any woodworking before!

Glad I discovered the Kreg Jig. It looks like it will really make things easier for a beginner like me. Ordered a Master System on Amazon and it arrived yesterday. Can't wait to get started!

Hello, My name is Robert (Bob). I live in central Ohio. I've worked with wood for most of my life. I got to start playing with a bandsaw at about 9 years old and got help from my dad for little projects. I started carpentering when I was 15. When my carpentry days ended and I started working in a factory, I started trying to build furniture at home. I have been building furniture and what-nots now for about 26 years. I was my own builder for my home. I built all the cabinetry. I used the Kreg jig for all the Cabinet face frames in the house.

Quite some time ago, while watching the Kreg demo, a man at the wood show told me,"after his table saw, his Kreg Jig was the 2nd most used tool in his shop". That settled it, I bought one and have loved it ever since. When talking tools with people I usually tell them, " you buy a cheap tool,  you get a cheap tool". That is not the case with my Kreg Jig, for a little money you get a tool that will pay for itself 100 times over.

Hello Everyone!

My name is Tracy and I'm a 35 year old full time mother and caregiver to my disabled husband in NE Oregon!

My husband and I got started with woodworking/furniture building a little over a year ago.  I watched a Kreg Jig infomercial and loved how idiot proof it seemed to be so we got one!  It was an instant hit here at home!  We now build furniture for a living, building for ourselves and for our friends and LOVE Kreg products.  We have the pocket hole jig, the drawer slide jig (both parts) and I personally am looking forward to the release of the Rip Cut!!!  Can't wait for that baby!

We are members of Ana-White.com (love that very innovative lady!), Handyman Club and love all things wood!

Hi Bob and Tracy.

Neat stories!
