My name is Wesley Dix, live in southern Illinois about 20 mile east of st louis, mo......I've been a woodworker for years, but never really serious about it until about 10 years ago. Just before I retired I picked up an extra job and used that money to start buying woodworking toys, I mean tools. Now I have a fairly well stocked shop, including a portable sawmill. I bought the Kreg master system over a year ago at the woodworking show, and have really enjoyed getting into it. This is just about the best thing since sliced bread, as it makes "creating" new projects much easier. Started and finished a couple of cabinets and additions to my woodshop in no time at all, creating my own plans in the process, and enjoying all of it. Now I have my eye on that new deck tool.
HI there, my name is Lon. I just retired from the City of Calgary Water Works. I 'm now living in Springville, Utah. I needed to to build myself a work shop because I carve gun stocks as a hobby. I bought this unknown pocket jig so I could build the counter tops, draws and cupboard doors. One of the very best tools I own. Thanks Kreg Pocket Jig.

Hi, my name is tom, I am from Royal Oak , Mi. I work in the truck mfg business in production planning. Like wood working but consider myself a beginner. Made the bench for my garage this past weekend and pretty impressed with the quality even though I made a few minor errors. I am hoping to work up to building cabinets for my bathroom remodel. I really enjoy the product. Thanks Kreg.
Hello, my name is Tom, I have been a a professional carpenter since 1979, I bought my first kreg jig system a couple of weeks ago for finishing a basement remodel and building custom cabinets, what a time saver, what was taking up to an hour to biscuit, glue and clamp, now takes me about 10-15 minutes to complete. I have started to look for more uses for the jig, and am incorporating it into my work more and more. I look forward to reading more tips and uses and will post some of my own as I learn.
Hi,
My name is Doug and I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I don't have a lot of experience in woodworking so a
cutting board is pretty impressive to me right now. I am hoping to spend some time reading some beginner tips
and then tackle some basic projects. I have the Kreg Pocket Hole Jig and the Kreg Square cut (among other
tools - router, table saw, band saw etc). At this point I have only made a few joints with my jig. The first one or
two didn't quite work out, but I got that fixed with a bit more reading. Eventually I would like to tackle making a
small vanity for our ensuite - hide the sink plumbing, make two or three drawers on one side and a large
opening for a laundry basket on the other.
Hi Tony, I'm also from Port Hope and am a keen woodworker. Maybe we can meet in town sometime and swap stories. Ron Bain 5 4350
First off I WOOD like to say Hello to Kreg, and all members of the Community. My name is Dwayne and I live in New Jearsey along the Delaware river. I am new to this type of woodworking but have been woodworking for over 25 yrs. I build Radio Controled Aircraft. I have done some wood working jobs around the house, but nothing to complex. To put it this way, I work mostly with balsa wood. This is verry soft and light wood that almost turns to dust just by looking at it LOL. I have many wood working tools, table saw, sliding compound miter box, 4 kinds of numatic nailers, router and table, plate joiner, belt sander, hand tools, etc. Thought Id forgotten about my new Kreg jig R3 jr didnt U?. Im looking for all kinds of projects and household jobs to keep me busey, I have built just about every plane there is and want to do somthing differant. Oh by the way I cant spell that well, so please forgive me. I love what I have seen so far on the Kreg web site and, I am looking forward to getting to know more ppl here. I can use all the help I can get, and appreciate everyones time and consideration.
Hi, my name is Jay. I live in Parkersburg WV. I have been woodworking for over 25 years and have a good size shop where I work on my projects. I just recently finished a remodel of 4 rooms in my house, making a handicapped accessible bathroom kitchen and dininig room. I made all the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom using a combination of pocket hole joinery, biscuits and rabbits, no mechanical fasteners. It turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. I have had a Kreg jig for a long time and recently updated to the latest master kit for the ability to use it on thicker wood.
Hi. My name is Bob Apthorp, I live in Wallaceburg Ontario Canada. I have been working with wood for about thirty years on and off since we bought our house. I been doing minor repairs, and some major repairs, like rebuiding the front verandah from the foundation up. Recently I changed my garage into a wood working shop, and have been adding tools as I need them, including the Kreg Jig with all the accessories. I find the system easy to use.
