I'm going to be building my own router table and was curious if any one had a certain set of plans they have used and liked.  I cannot decide on building my own fence or saving up my pocket change until I can buy the Kreg Fence. Any feedback is greatly appreciated....  Thanks

Hey Tom: I purchased the Kreg DVD "The Pocket Hole Solution to Router Tables" ($10) and built the one there. I followed the DVD and the table went together without a hitch. Have a look.

I enjoyed the "The Pocket Hole Solution to Router Tables". Now as soon as I can get my roof replaced on my shed/workshop, I'll start on the router table...

Seem to be always something to keep me from it...

Tom, did you decide to build the Kreg one in that DVD?
Sad to see your roof... what happened?
I think I will follow the general plans from the Kreg plans. I may make some minor changes to fit my needs...

The shed got shaken up a bit from a Micro burst, 85 - 100mph winds... I got the bad side stripped down and replaced. Just got to do the other side now. We also lost two trees, one trunk snapped and the other uprooted. Then the power pole that supplies the house shifted and pulled the mast off the house and the power line out of the meter... Other then that, could have been worse.
Good stuff Tom, I made mine out of 3/4 MDF, plenty of strenght using pocket holes. Show some shots as you build. Yeah life has gotten in my way too, all I have left is to cut out for the insert and install my router.
Sorry to hear about your shed/workshop. But you are lucky to have such a LARGE workshop. Looks nice. Wish I had one instead of working in the garage.
Well, it's not so big, I'm sharing it with 2 canoes, that i hit my head on all the time as they are hung by the rafters, 3 riding mowers and a rototiller and all the other gardening tools...
Trying to get it cleaned out enough to fit a table saw in there, and of course a nice router table...
