Hello Therdsak
Welcome to the Kreg Forum and website.
You will find a multitude of skills here including information, lots of plans, plenty of practical experience advice and lots of photos of members projects.
As there is a lot of interesting timber available to you in Thailand so I am sure you will enjoy yourself.
I was impressed with the gold leaf work at your temples when I visited many years ago.

Good morning,
My name is Les Ames
I have been using Kreg for several years and love it. I retired 3 years ago and have a lot more time to spend on wood working. I build furniture and cabinets for our house. The bedroom is about done, family room next then time to start on the kitchen. The Kreg jig gets a work out on almost everything I build. I like to build my stuff in sections, put it together for final check, then take it apart and finish.
hello,
please tell me the infomercial and reviews are real. i only say this b/c it's the first time i've watched a video and said "geesh... i can do that." but then i am saying, "that looks to easy"
i am a professional and what that means to me is that i'm trained to do one thing well... but only one thing. this would be outside my comfort zone but i've always wanted to build wood stuff myself or just be able to fix stuff myself (made of wood) but when looking at the options... just decided to buy something or chuck it away. so... is it really that simple?
hi steve,
all i can say is that its easy, but remember to alway check wood size and to check jig is set on right settings.like you im out of my comfort zone, ive made a few mistakes, but im having fun building better items in less time.the only other thing i can think of is to read and watch as many things about the kreg jig as you can several time

Hello and welcome Les,
I was admiring your night stand and media center, the 45 deg front edges at the front look very nice.
So much that they intrigued me as to how you made them.
So out with the pencil and paper and started drawing a exploded view.
I thought the two front sections are cut with 1 x 45 deg angle on the face next to the drawer (as its flush in the photo) and then 1 x 22.5 angle to match the sides, and the resulting section is in fact triangular, is this correct?

Good evening Robert,
Sorry if I have posted something that didn't make sense, but I am trying to find my way around the forum. I assume there is a way to send and receive a private message? If so send me one and I will try and show you how I construct it.
I guess you are getting into spring down there? New beginnings I guess

Hello again Les,

The post made sense al right, in fact that was what attracted the interest.
Dont be surprised if there is more members commenting later as well.
I would certainly appreciate some assembly details.
After taking a second more detailed look at the pictures, you may have just used 45 Deg angle on the front, then butted onto 90 deg angle at the sides, as this would give you the offset as well and allow the stock for the rear legs and the front legs to be the same !

Otherwise its into the workshop and make up a prototype to satisify the mystery

Hi, my name is Charles.
I'm an Aussie, so please don't call me "Chuck". I know it's short for Charles, but in Australia to chuck is to vomit.
I'm now semi-retired and getting into woodwork. I saw the videos on Youtube for the Kreg Jig and am very pleased I bought one. I've already made a bench for my mitre saw, and a new fence for my old mitre saw using pocket hole joinery. (I broke the last fence cutting up scrap for firewood. Grrrr.) I've also fixed an antique mahogany chair. The Kreg Jig is just great!
My (adult) daughter is into "shabby chic" furniture and accessories and has umpteen projects lined up for me. So does my wife, of course!
I Look forward to trying out some of the projects with free plans here.
Charles

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
