What's your daytime job?

owner / operator of an automotive repair shop until the wife finishes her doctorate degree in pharmacy, then i'll be able to go back to college and finish my doctorate in pharmacy as well, maybe then i'll be able to figure out how to keep my oily finger prints from getting all over my wood projects...

I am a Custom Cabinet and Furniture Builder since 1985,have also been a General contractor"Glad that's gone".With the economy in a stand still I have down sized all the way to myself and have found a great peace of mind as well really learning about myself and life.Now if I can stay busy and make a modest living all will be well.Thanks

Hi!! I'm Richard now living in Fort Pierce Florida. I have a pretty good daytime job. The first job I have in the morning is to feed the cat.She is pretty strict about feeding time and can get very upset if it's not done on time. The rest of the day is spent making sawdust. So far,in the last year and a half I have completed furniture for every room in the condo (see photos posted on 04/14 . I am retired now and am forced to get around in a wheelchair. This doesn't stop me from keeping busy and at the same time being productive. For the last 30 years before I retired due to RA,I was an engineer that designed and set up manufacturing plants for major tire companies.For 10 years I worked doing this for a large Fortune 500 company and for the last 20 years did this on my own. I covered more than 60 Countries and enjoyed every minute of it. I even ended up living in So. America for almost 5 years. Back in the states now enjoying the golden years. (read my profile)

I'm Todd from Iowa. I own my own property maintenance company. I started out just playing around with a scroll saw, now I absolutely LOVE woodworking! Been doing it for about 8 years now. I just wish I would have started sooner!

That is what I started with my daughter bought me a scroll saw and now I have a fortune in tools but love every one of them

Hi Brad from Iowa. I am a firefighter, both paid and volunteer. Attempt to do woodworking. If I ever get my shop put together. Make things for the family and do some scroll sawing.

I'm a scientist. A chemist actually. I grew up on a farm and learned to love building things with my hands. Woodworking is an outlet that some would call a hobby and others an obsession. My wife says I'm somewhat OCD.

I'm Levi from Franklinville NC. Steel fitter by day, baseball coach by night, golfer whenever I get a chance. Whenever I'm home though, my wife usually has something for to do. That's where the woodworking comes in. Jokes on her though, because that's something I enjoy doing.
