Hi Whatfelloff,
I ONLY subscribe to 2 woodworking magazines. The first one is SHOPNOTES and WOODSMITH. These are both from August Publishing. The reason I like them is because there are NO ADVERTISEMENTS. (YES, none...guess who pays for the issues). One Year (6 issues) is $ 24.95....You can get a "FREE" issue to evaluate the magazine. For all you Kreg Jig Guys/Gals take a look at Issue # 108. Kreg jig is on the cover. (Did I say there were no ads....)

For some basic toys that wouldn't require a lot of wood or materials, I found "Zany Wooden Toys That Whiz, Spin, Pop and Fly" by Bob Gilsdorf is good for learning simple techniques. None of them really require a lot of tools (but good tools make them MUCH easier). Great for gifts for kids and ways to use up your scraps.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
