Several years ago I bought a chair at a woodcrafters shop. This chair was 3 fold in its function and it was called a "Bachelors Chair". Supposedly the design was from Thomas Jefferson.

It was a chair you could sit on (but was not for comfort). It had a rather large drawer below the seat and the back of the chair folded over the seat to make an ironing board.

I did not get custody of this chair during a divorce, and at this point I would love to try and build one.

I'm looking for plans or suggestions to where I might look for the plans for this unique piece of furniture as I'd love to make it to give to my daughter.

Any help would be appreciated.

Bingo Phillip. Except for the drawer, this is it. I guess the step stool over rides the drawer. I'll order this today and thanks so much.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
