KREG Square Cut Tool

As soon as I got back to the shop with the tool, I inverted my 71/4 circle saw and adjusted the tool. I set the guide arm so that it was just inside the teeth on the blade. My blade has staggered teeth. Then I drew my cut line. I then set the guide arm just inside the mark, bingo! Just what I wanted. There is one other thing that I did. The stock was firmly clamped. Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
