"Hello Guy It appears you did everything as advised on Kreg pdf. Is it possible your clutch setting was set too high. You were wise to do a test before actually assembling. I would hate to have that surprise if it were me. Mike"

"My only thought would be is that the shaft has enough play, that it may be binding a bit. Is it possible there may be some rust on the shaft? I would try a little WD40, and let it sit few moments. See if that works. Mike"
