The the longer wall pcs. you are showing are called shelf standards. The smaller pc. is just a shelf bracket. Take your pics. with you to a Home Depot or Lowes and they should have exactly what yiu need.

It appears you did everything as advised on Kreg pdf. Is it possible your clutch setting was set too high. You were wise to do a test before actually assembling. I would hate to have that surprise if it were me.

"My only thought would be is that the shaft has enough play, that it may be binding a bit. Is it possible there may be some rust on the shaft? I would try a little WD40, and let it sit few moments. See if that works.
