Very well could be, as I painted the scene I just thought about the high desert, and glad I was not walking across it.

jay,

The "saguaro cactus" gives a nice accent to the scene.

Is that the stagecoach that traveled thru the Sonoran Desert?

Thank you ken for your kind words.  The use of glass and art is something I do like in the furniture when I can find a piece that it can be used on.  I do appreciate your comments.

Jay,

Very nice touch.

That certainly does highlight the furniture.

Thank you Leslee,  It was a fun project to do.  The reason I did the stagecoach scenes is that the owner likes horses and horse teams and anything to do with the old west.  Old west history is his favorite subject therefore I thought "you can't get better that a stage coach running across the western prairie.

He liked it so it turned out great.   Thanks again.

The pictures of the black glass paintings are really cool. Your artwork is really pretty. I like your paintings the way you caught the stagecoach in different ways took a lot of hours of hard work.  I think the orange light is a really great feature to add to the effects of the pictures. You really do fine work, Jay.

Michael and Jim, thank you both for the nice comments.  This was one project that I do not have all the photos of when it was done.  Part of it was built here at home, which was the doors, and the cabinet was done in Bend..  I know that I took photos but after looking for them several times they have disappeared.  I know that I have replaced memory cards in the camera a couple times but usually I downloaded the contents.  Must have for got to do so.  Any I got these from the owner and when I get a chance I will photo it again.  Thank you again for the kind words.

Thank you Lorrie for your nice comments.  Yes it does look good with the orange light as when I sandblasted the glass I did not allow the sand to etch the glass as heavy at the top as I did the bottom. When the light hits it, it will glow  darker in orange at about where the Horizon would be and then becomes lighter as it goes up towards the top of the glass. This being this way it does look like a sunset and that is why I painted the scene in black.  I was hoping for some pictures of the other doors but didn't get them.  The other doors are just the square raised panels with only one being a multiple panel.  It is the tall door that is located on the right side of the where the TV sits.  There are three other doors of which two are black fabric covered for speaker sound and the middle one is a single raised panel the covers a storage area.  Glass and stone are another media that I like to dabble in.  :)  Thanks again.
