KENT, very nice design and finish on your table , a job well done , thanks for sharing , JIM !!!
I like your design on your table especially the opening under the glass top of your table. You could put the tv remote under the glass. Or other stuff that is small and could break like plates and other nick nacks. I really like the inlay on the top of the legs that took some thought to see if it would look good.
Thanks for sharing.
Kent, seeing your table again starts the creative thinking in my mind. It definately is a inspirational one of a kind example of craftsmanship.
Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately, I don't have a formal set of plans. I worked from a line drawing I created which, other than the basic dimensions, really only helped me figure out the amount of wood I would need (I didn't keep it). I did post a complete description of a coffee table I made on the Instructables.com website (search: Oak and Glass Display Top End Table). The construction technique is similar to the coffee table. Really, once you determine your dimensions, the rest is just planning the assembly. The End Table posting should help in that respect. Good luck!

I am very impressed with your table.
Would you be willing to share your plans?

good point about the glass weight, I thought it was under 1/2" thick, so then it is safe, I'll try to make one, and again, great job!
A few people have expressed concerns about the glass floating on the table top unsecured. The glass was from a coffee table I bought from someone on Craigslist (for $30). It is 1/2" thick and probably weighs 25-30 pounds so it takes quite a bit of force to move it even slightly out of position.
Thanks for the positive comments and feedback. I appreciate it!
Very striking piece, Kent.
ooh ok ok, nice tip!!

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
