Doin' great Mick.
Hope you're ''wishin' ''arrives soon---
It's a long time 'til next xmas.
Thanks ken how you doing ?good i hope the dremel is now officially on the wishlist thanks.
Hi Ray,
Re letters with no spaces,
Rockler offers the ''State Park fonts'' templates---
http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=31852&site=ROCKLER
they make for some attractive signage.
Quick and easy to route, using with a palm router.
They can also be hand carved out---place the templates into position,
use a marking pen or pencil to mark the outlines, and carve away.
Chip carving give the signs a nice personal touch.
Hi Mick on HILLVIEW,
Dremel tools are great---the rotary as well as the oscillating tools.
I've had their rotatory tools, since before they introduced the variable speed models.
Great for small size tasks.
And, the oscillating tool since shortly after it was introduced---this tool gets lots of use---sanding/grinding, as well as cutting.
Dremel tools have been some of the best tool investments I've made to date.
Very useful for unlimited tasks.
For making signs or plaques, I prefer to hand carve the letters/numbers and characters.
Just something I like about making wood chips.
Hi steve, sorry about useing your name ha ha.Its hillview because we live on a hill .Been thinking of putting a dremel on my wishlist are they any good steve ?Go steady buddy.
Mick, did you make that sign for me? Haahaahaa. My last name is Hill you know....looks great. I'm going to have to break out my dremel and see if i can free-hand some things. I will have to get an adjustable base for the dremel though.
Hi ray sorry did not get back too you sooner been having problems with the computer.I believe the sign kit is american its called a Sign Pro made by milescraft, the letters are self spacing makes it easy have a great day ray.
Micheal, that sign really looks good, What sort of template are you using, I seen you also used these letters on your troll bridge. I like the fact that the letters don't have spaces in them like the old templates do.
Thanks jim as allways your two kind.We both get a kick out of useing unusual scraps, this particular scrap was given to me by the machinist i know in the timber yard i frequentt.Usually the scraps go on the woodburner to keep there shop warm,he kept this piece for me as it was a nice piece of english oak.
MICK , very good job on the lettering , as always another job well done !!! Nice looking scrap oak ,we think alike recycle or use boards that others think non useable , very nice house name plate , JIM !!!

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
