Made this to make room on my main work bench. Works great and not hard at all to make. Rotates nice and smoothly

Ashley, if you go over to Kreg's site at buildsomething.com my flip top bench is under the featured plans page and you can get my hand drawn plans there. Thanks

Hey Jack,

I love your design and it looks very solid I see where you have said you might be willing to share you drawings for the bench you built.I have been looking for plans to build a flip top bench is there a chance you might share them with me?

Thanks Ashley

Yes Todd I have them standing up, as to not roll around, in the drawer along with the collar rings.

Do you just store all the Sander inserts in the drawer when you have the Sander upside down?

Those black things are actually just plastic bench dogs that came with benches I picked up at Woodcraft. If you are interested in the drawings I did, give me an email address and I can send them to you

HI JACK, Think I under stand what you did , the shelf that the tools are laged to is 1 1/2 " thick, as the the sides and you run the rod in the middle of the shelf !!  I was looking at the two black things under the shelf  in the pic. with the drill press on top,!!  Think they are the two rods that you put in the sides  on each end  to hold the shelf after you rotate it , is this right , thanks , JIM !!

Hi James, the sides are also two pieces of sande plywood glued and Brad nailed, I just drilled a 1/2" hole through the first piece on both sides. With the rod inserted 3/4" on each side it more than enough support with the solid steel rod.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
