Oh, this was a change table for a friend as a gift. The little guy arrived the same day as I finished it. :)

Hi Robert,

The colour rendition in the photo aint great. It was a Indonesian teak finish. Really dark brown. I live in South Africa and we have a product called GripSeal. Works great. 

But you could have used a sanding sealer and then stained over that as well to get the same look.

What product did you use to do the "black" finish?

Its obviously a change table, so when  is the addition to the family due to arrive?
