Ray, thanks for pointing that out.
Jay,
Very nice touch with the beaded purple heart.
I viewed an enlarged image of the pick, and can see it.
An attractive looking highlight.
Hi, Ray this is a purple heart bead. Breaks up the plain look between the alder frame and the mirror. It is hard to tell in the photo but the purple heart bead stand just proud of the frame by about 1/8 inch to give the bead it full profile.
Hey Jay, I looked at this before but I never noticed the beading around the mirror, What is that made of ? Is that purple heart or walnut.
I appreciate that Justin.
Pretty work Jay!!!
George, Thank you for the nice words. Yes when a customer allows you time to build something it is always an opportunity to really enjoy doing a project. It allows you time to perfect something a little more percise that what you might not be able to do. The wooden bow is just something I started during a Christmas season ago and something I just like to do. Again George, thank you for your kind words.
Jay, you have done it again. The chest is beautiful. I like the signature bow that you have with your piece. I like it when a customer tells you to take your time and their in no hurry. Another job well done. George
David and Ray, It is always appreciated when two accompolished woodworkers, like you, leave a comment on my work. I am very thankful to both of you.
It was one of the " do it when you can projects" that sometimes falls together into something that becomes fun and brings enjoyment to being a woodworker. I am glad you appreciate my work.
Once again Jay yuo have out did yourself, The quality and craftsmanship that goes into your work is always an inspiration.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
