The completed Blanket Box for my wife.
She actually annexed it from my shop when she saw it full of timber one day and asked me to make a lid for it so she could use it to store clothing, but don't tell anybody.

Robert,
I used to think, "Down-Under'', meant to dig deeper in a pile of lumber, when looking for the good stuff.
Ha ha ha Ken,
that's us to a tee
''Down Under'' reminds me of Men-At-Work
Hello Ray
Yes the timber is all Australian.
the framework and lid is Camphor Laurel, camphor being a natural bug repellant.
Smells like Vicks Vapour rub if you have used it.
The panels are all Australian hardwoods, Brushbox and Yellow box again a native Australian hardwood.
The grain pattern was the reason I used the timber and it was purchased from Lazy Larry's woodworks
Robert that is one good looking blanket box. What kind of wood is that? Is that some exotic wood from down under. I really like that grain pattern
Robert you just keep building the wood boxes and I'm sure you will be getting customers from all over. This is a very nice eye appealing blanket chest with character. Real nice design and different from a "just another chest". Well made and showing some real craftsmanship. Like the split lid look and the design around the bottom and the top remaind me of dentil molding. Excellent work, Thank you for showing.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
