Rod, very well done. This is a great project, and a beautiful addition to your living space below that flat screen. The European hinges are a nice touch. Very good, thank you for sharing! BTW, do you have any in-progress shots to show us how you built it?

I also used glue. I read somewhere that the glue should only be on the end grain of the panel which gives the panel room to expand and contract on the sides.

Looks really nice! It looks like you made pocket holes in the stiles and screwed them into the rails. Wouldn't it be sturdier if it were done the other way around so that you weren't screwing it into an end grain?
