Comment by Steve McCullough on September 14, 2012 at 4:57pm: I use a Dewalt with an adjustable "Clutch". I back it off and usually use number 2 or 1 1/2. If the clutch is set too high or too much torque, it will go through.

Question for you... a couple times the Kreg screw went completely through the pocket hole. I think it is because the green treated lumber I used was still pretty 'green' and soft. Any thoughts if this may have been the case and what I could do differently? Thanks!

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
