Comment by Shawn Gerardy on April 14, 2010 at 8:52am: Well, there is alot of different issues that i run into with this wood, considering, I cut the tree down and mill it my self with my personal sawmill.
-I run into a good amount of tearout when I'm Jointing and planing.
-Cutting off all of the branches is a pain when I'm building the log portions.
-Cedar is a soft stringy wood so it responds differently to many processes than like your oak would.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
