Helo Jay,
I have been meaning to ask a couple of questions regarding your cabinet work.
1 in the photos there is a white insert, one under the sink and another under some doors, its in the kick board area, what is it for?
2 Is the work in your own home or at a customers site?
3 How long did it take to prepare the presentation on making the doors and who put it together?
I thought this was a forum for woodworking, not politics.............
And Government did not build it haha Looks fantastic Jay
Thanks Ken, The owners are pretty happy with them
Jay,
Very nice looking.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Joan for a nice comment. It means alot and is much appreciated. These cabinets were fun to build and I found much enjoyment as I got to pretty much design as I wanted. The customer just wanted some custom cabinets that would be different than anyone else. It has been a long project due to many delays from the customer but I'm seeing the end soon. Crown molding is yet to be done as the trim out in the window. The back splash is being done now.
I would take on an apprentice if I had the opportunity as in the past I have taugh the trade to a couple others who have gone on and started their own business. I enjoy helping and teaching anyone so bring your hammer.
Wonderful work, Jay - I love the detail on the upper cabinets and consistently top-notch finish work. Do you take on apprentices???!!!???
Thank you Ray for the comment, I appreciate it very much. It is large job but was enjoyable. I'm still working on additional cabinets in this house. Then I will come back and build some custom crown molding.
Jay I enjoyed looking at your work. Very nicely done.
Thank you Adrian, I appreciate it very much. I enjoy building them and teaching others my methods. Glad to see that you are back as you disappeared from the community for a while. We need all the members around to keep this organization alive. Hope to see some projects from you soon.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction. I have considerable experience with conventional…
