Robert attracting birds is an easy task and sometimes it is not.  I have build a few of these for neighbors  and some like it for birds.  Although i have build several in the area mostly and some in my back yard I took advantage of its looks and I am looking for two legged birds that wear shoes and want to become a jail bird.  (burglars, there are alot in the area)

In this situation it is not for a bird house it is hiding a video surveilance camera.  However kind of interesting though the camera imputs to a video system that is a hard drive and hooked to the system is a 21 inch monitor.  The system includes audio and it i quite interesting to watch birds try to figure out how to get in the door.  It is covered with a plexiglass covering allowing the camera full view of my driveway front door and the entire front of the house.  I also put one on the other side of the house so it shoots the same view but through a seperate camera.  I live in a high crime area so i have to take extra methods of protection.   I do have a couple birdhouses near this location that do have birds in them.

 As far  the birdhouse you put up for the bird whom you found the nest. Yod did do it and others a favor . they just haven't figured it out yet but i am sure one or two will soon.   Thanks for the comment and noticing my post.

What variety of bird are you attracting to the birdhouse?

 

I found a nest in my tree when I was pruning it and buildt a bird house to replace it however I have never had any birds show any interest since.

Pity really as I thought I was doing them a good turn.
